Ray, I liked the art you created to accompany the Containment Protocol. It added some fun to the story and helped set the mood. I haven't tried to create art in AI yet. No doubt there's a bit of trial and error to get what you want.

I try hard to find existing images online first, only going to AI as a last resort. Even so, a lot of trial and error is inevitable. It reminds me of Charles Gannon's Caine Riordan books. The bad guys have the ability to nudge events the way they want by monkeying around with probability. But there are consequences to using the ability too much. Spoiler alert, they use it too much.

I tried AI for the first time a couple of weeks ago to come up with better back cover copy for my upcoming book, Electromagnetic Assault. It was fascinating to see the different permutations AI came up with. None were useful as is but I was able to get bits and pieces from several. I worked in IT for part of my career and learned the danger of "over tinkering."
