Since I’ve only been to one Con and don’t remember any special patterns I’ve completely failed this mission. I expect to be tossed out of an airlock any minute now for my complete lack of both Con experience and situational awareness.
Any Con recommendations for near future science fiction and technothrillers? Bonus points for ones in the Midwest as I live in the Milwaukee area. Thanks
Ray, thank you for such a great list! I’ll check all of these out. I’m originally from the Detroit area so if you have any questions I’m happy to answer them. Have a blast at the Cons and perhaps our paths will one day cross in person.

Lol! No consequences. All for fun. Do attend more cons, though.

I’ll be attending ConFusion, in Detroit, in January (https://2025.confusionsf.org/). I just was at Archon (St. Louis), and WindyCon (Chicago). Those are the ones I can drive to conveniently. But, there are also Convergence , in Minneapolis, in July (https://www.convergence-con.org/), & Marscon, Minneapolis (https://marscon.org/2025/). Here’s a link to a list of upcoming cons (https://www.upcomingcons.com/science-fiction-conventions#google_vignette). It’s a great way to network with fans and other authors. Have fun!

Thanks for a great list!
OMG so funny! I needed this today!
