She tidyeth tangled plot lines for sake of the story
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the blank page, I will fear no bad reviews
For thou speaketh via voices in my head; Thy wit and thy humor comfort me
Thou bringeth me a muffin in the shadow of a deadline
Thou anointest my soul with motivation; my word count runneth over
Surely publication and prosperity shall follow me
All the days of my book launch
And I shall dwell upon the bestsellers’ list
Forever and ever

My writing method is a mix of plotting, I use Lisa Cron’s blueprint method along with giving myself plenty of leeway to follow whatever ideas come along the way. It’s the best and worst of both but it works for me.
